#1 Bobble Blanket – Free Crochet Pattern
Supplies You Will Need:
- 5mm Crochet Hook
- Any aran yarn
- Yarn Needle
- Tape Measure
- Scissors
Size 30 x 31 inches approx
Stitches Used:
Ch – Chain
Sc – Single Crochet
Dc – Double Crochet
Bst – Bobble Stitch – Yarn over, insert hook into allocated stitch, draw up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops on hook – Repeat 3 more times until there are 5 loops on hook, yarn over, pull through all loops on hook
Sts – Stitches

This pattern is written using American standard crochet terminology.
Notes:
- This crochet pattern is worked in rows starting from the bottom working towards the top of the blanket, turn your blanket over at the end of each row.
- Ch1 at the start of each row does not count as a stitch throughout the pattern.
- Repeat what is in between the stars from * to * until the end of the round.
- If you have a ** in your row you need to follow the pattern from * to * across the entire row and then when you get near the end of the row you will finish your last repeat at ** because you can no longer complete the entire repeat then follow what it says to do to complete the row.
- Read each row carefully before starting the row.

R1. Ch107, 1dc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn (106dc)
R2. Ch1, 1sc in first 3dc * Bst in next dc, 1sc in next 2dc * Repeat from * to * all the way across the row until 1dc remains, 1sc in last dc, turn (106sts)
R3. Ch1, 1dc in each stitch across, turn (106dc)
R4. Ch1, 1sc in first 3dc * Bst in next dc, 1sc in next 2dc, Bst in next dc ** 1sc in next 8dc * Repeat from * to * all the way across the row until 3dc remains finishing last repeat at ** 1sc in last 3dc, turn (106sts)
R5. Ch1, 1dc in each stitch across, turn (106dc)
R6. Ch1, 1sc in first 3dc * Bst in next dc, 1sc in next 2dc, Bst in next dc ** 1sc in next 8dc * Repeat from * to * all the way across the row until 3dc remains finishing last repeat at ** 1sc in last 3dc, turn (106sts)
R7. Ch1, 1dc in each stitch across, turn (106dc)
R8. Ch1, 1sc in first 3dc * Bst in next dc, 1sc in next 2dc * Repeat from * to * all the way across the row until 1dc remains, 1sc in last dc, turn (106sts)
R9. Ch1, 1dc in each stitch across, turn (106dc)
Repeat rows 2-9 until your blanket measures 29.5 inches approx finishing on row 9.
Fasten off and weave in ends. Move on to border.
Border – White Yarn:
R1. Join yarn in top right hand corner, work 1sc evenly around the entire blanket, working (1sc, ch2, 1sc) in each corner, join with a slip stitch to beg sc
R2. Ch1, Work 1sc in each sc around, working (1sc, ch2, 1sc) in each corner ch2 space, join with a slip stitch to beg sc
R3. Ch1, Work 1sc in each sc around, working 3sc in each corner ch2 space, join with a slip stitch to beg sc
Fasten off and weave in ends.
