Size 23.83 x 25.5 inches approx ( Without Border)

Bst – Bobble Stitch – Yarn over, insert hook into allocated stitch, draw up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops on hook – Repeat 3 more times until there are 5 loops on hook, yarn over, pull through all loops on hook

This pattern is written using American standard crochet terminology.
Notes:
- This crochet pattern is worked in rows, turn your blanket over at the end of each row.
- Ch1 at the start of each row does not count as a stitch.
- Read each round carefully before starting the row.

R1. Ch101, 1dc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn (100dc)
R2. Ch1, 2dc in very first dc, skip next 2dc * Work (1dc, ch1, 1dc) in next dc, skip next 2dc * Repeat from * to * all the way across the row until 1dc remains, 2dc in last dc, turn (100sts)
R3. Ch1, 1dc in each dc across and 1dc in each ch1 space across, turn (100dc)
R4. Ch1, 1sc in first 3dc * Bst in next dc, 1sc in next 2dc * Repeat from * to * all the way across the row until 1dc remains, 1sc in last dc, turn (100sts)
R5. Ch1, 1dc in each st across, turn (100dc)
Repeat rows 2-5 until blanket measures 25.5 inches approx finishing on row 3. Fasten off and weave in ends.

I didn’t include a border on my blanket but if you do you will need more yarn than what is originally stated. Here is a simple border you could do on your blanket:
Border:
R1. Join yarn in top right hand corner, work 1sc evenly around the entire blanket, working 3sc in each corner, join with a slip stitch to beg sc
R2. Work 1sc in each sc around, working (1sc, ch1, 1sc) in each corner sc, join with a slip stitch to beg sc
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Blocking:
You don’t have to block this blanket but a blocked blanket always looks better – It gets rid of an unevenness and makes it lay completely flat.
Water – Submerge blanket in cool water for approx 20 mins then lay flat, you can reshape blanket whilst damp.
Steam – Use a hand steamer or an iron and steam blanket – Reshape blanket whilst the fibers are warm – I used this method.
