Stitch Design
The Nora stitch is a quick and easy stitch which is perfect if you are looking for the lacy look! This stitch reminds me of the granny stripe stitch but it is slightly different and the Nora stitch creates bigger hole spaces. This stitch is a beginner friendly stitch as it only uses dc stitches and chain stitches so if you are a beginner this is a perfect stitch for you to try out.
The Nora stitch only uses a one row repeat so you can easily get stuck into this stitch pattern without having to keep referring back to it.
I have called this the Nora Stitch to go in line with other crochet patterns that I have designed from it so you actually might know this stitch called something else.

For this stitch pattern i used the Rico Creative Cotton Aran which is such a dream to work with, it comes in such an array of colors which are so fresh, vibrant and modern.

Blocking:
Soak finished piece for 20 minutes in cool water and squeeze excess water out gently. Do not twist. Lay damp piece on blocking boards and pin using blocking pins to hold in place to your desired width and length. Let your crochet stitches dry completely before unpinning.
