This Pretty Daisy C2c Blanket pattern starts from the bottom right hand corner and is worked diagonal until you reach the top left hand corner, this is a rectangle blanket pattern.

This pattern is written using American standard crochet terminology.

Notes:

For written instructions it would read like this:

  • ← Row 1 & all odd rows (RS) are worked from right to left.
  • → Row 2 & all even rows (WS) are worked from left to right.
  • This C2C crochet blanket pattern starts from the bottom right hand corner and is worked diagonal until you reach the top left hand corner
  • Each square of the chart represents one block (Ch3, 3dc) of the pattern.
  • You will begin the rows with an increase block until you reach the bottom left corner and then you will start decreasing on this side.
  • You will continue to increase on the other side. Once you reach the upper right corner you will then start to decrease on this side too, which means you will no longer be increasing on any side and you will carry on decreasing on both sides until you finish your blanket.
  • I would highly recommend using separate balls of yarn when switching colors which will eliminate cutting and joining yarn frequently – You could use bobbins to help keep yarn tangle free.
