Design

Today’s free crochet pattern is the Zest Granny Square, this crochet pattern starts off in the round with a circle design and then becomes a granny square but it then finishes off as a solid square. This granny square has a lot going on but it is actually really simple to crochet and the finished square is beautiful, this would also look great in a single color! The zest granny square is suited for an advanced beginner crocheter but still enjoyable for an advanced crocheter.

Copyright

This Zest Granny Square is an original design to Truly Crochet so please do not copy, share, adjust or sell the original form in part or in whole, you can make things from it for personal use only. Do not make a large item from this motif and then sell it as your own original design – I work very hard creating original designs so please be mindful.

Weave in all ends. Move on to blocking.

Blocking:

If you are using natural fiber yarn – Soak the finished motif for 10 minutes in cool water and squeeze excess water out gently. Do not twist. Lay damp motif on blocking boards and use blocking pins to hold in place. Let your motif dry completely before unpinning.

If you are using synthetic yarn – You can steam block either with a hand steamer or the steam function of your iron by holding the steamer above your motif for a couple of seconds making sure you don’t touch the yarn otherwise it will burn.

You may sell the finished item made using this pattern.
