Design
The Cara Shawl is one of my most popular crochet shawl patterns to date, you guys really love this one! I can see why as it was such a pleasure to design and create, this shawl is so light and airy and perfect for all year round even in the Summer months.
I love designing any asymmetrical shawl filet crochet patterns as anything kind of goes and most of the time you can adjust the size of them so they can fit everyone or to how you want it.

This crochet pattern is very simple to make and once you get going it’s very easy to follow the repeats of the pattern which is what i like designing the most. I used easy dc stitches for this pattern and chain stitches which are some of the most basic stitches you need to know when you crochet.
I hope all of your Christmas preparations are going well, can’t believe how quick it’s coming up, this year has flown by!!

I’m really enjoying this pattern but I seem to be stuck on the row 19 repeat. I always seem to have a left over stitch at the end of the row. Which then throws off the other rows if I try and add an extra stitch.

Hi there, so sorry for any confusion, i made a slight error please repeat rows 21-28 to complete the pattern. I have now changed it on the pattern above.
