For this crochet pattern i used Malabrigo worsted because that was in my spare yarn stash at the time.. Yes i know you have a secret stash too, promise i won’t tell hehe! I actually really love how these turned out as Malabrigo worsted is hand dyed merino wool, no hank is completely the same so i think it really brings out the stitch definition when the colors change slightly.

Close up of the Christmas star ornaments

The Christmas star ornament are so popular! Last year i seen hundreds floating around social media, not only were people hanging them on their Christmas tree they were also putting them as Christmas tags, how lovely is that! Such a fantastic idea!

These stars measure approximately 3.5 inches so they are perfect for hanging on a tree or around the house when it’s holiday season.

Hope you enjoy!

Yarn:

For this project i used Malabrigo Worsted which is such a dream to work with, it’s merino wool and if you have ever used merino wool before you know how soft it is! It comes in such an array of colors which are so fresh and vibrant. You will need 50 yards or less to crochet one of these.
